Tempeh Caesar Salad

Ingredients (Serves 2)

  • 1 Bag of Kale
  • Cucumber
  • Radish
  • Tempeh
  • Chickpeas
  • Olive Oil
  • Smoked Paprika

Caesar Dressing:

  • 2 Tbsp Tahini
  • 1 Tsp Mustard
  • Squeeze of Lemon
  • Nutritional Yeast
  • Plant-based Parmesan
  • Splash of water



  1. Set Oven at 200C
  2. Add your chickpeas to a baking tray, season with olive oil, salt, pepper and smoked paprika - add it to the oven for 30/40 minutes
  3. Slice up your tempeh and fry in some sesame oil, 1 tsp smoked paprika, salt and pepper - make sure it is brown on both sides
  4. Dice your cucumber and radish
  5. Make your dressing by mixing all the sauce ingredients together - adding splashes of water until you get the desired consistency
  6. Prepare the kale, add it to a baking tray, drizzle with some olive oil and massage thoroughly and season with some salt and pepper. 
  7. Once you've got 3 minutes left on the chickpeas add your kale into the oven just to warm through and soften
  8. Assemble your bowl together using the chickpeas as croutons - enjoy!
